The Excitement is Building

Episode 4 of the "Jasper, Street-Fighter, and Me" Series

M is for Malice

The exciting fourth episode of the "Jasper, Street-Fighter and Me" series is projected to hit the shelves, by no later than Wednesday of this week. This fast paced book, filled with action, suspense, intrigue, romance, and surprises, from the opening line, until the final line.  It is also the longest book of the series, and actually has moved out of the short story category length, but as promised when I started the series, I will keep the price at $0.99.

As per usual for this series, it will only be available from Amazon, for digital, and from Createspace as a paperback.

Here is a Sneak Peak at the book description that will appear on Amazon.

M is for Malice

This is the fourth book in the “Jasper, Street-Fighter, and Me” series.  M is for Malice answer’s Maggie’s final thoughts at the end of book 3 of the series, “Serial Doesn’t Always start with a C”. The action begins right away, and does not let up throughout the story.  Without revealing any specifics in the story, let me simply say, that Maggie’s day definitely did not go as she had planned when she left the house in her new toy, a used, but mint, BMW Z-8.  Maggie, left alone, to meet a new client, while the boys go for a walk in the woods with Jim, who is still ‘convalescing’ at Maggie’s from receiving a large piece of a Ford in his right buttocks at the end of “Serial”.

I also want to give a shout-out to my cover designer, Paul Potiki. Paul took a scene from the story, and created a cover that I know will have the viewer, wanting to read the book to find out what is going on around the car. What could Jasper and Street-Fighter possibly be up to, and why is Maggie hiding behind the car?  There is only one way to find out, and that is to read the story.

NEW OP-ED POSTED

NEW OP-ED

After the completion of the Iowa Caucus, and the fallout from the games that were played on Caucus Day, I sat down a wrote a new vent on my OP-ED page on my Web site The Home of Author Richard Nurse.  The title of the piece "Hear My Silence" listed above is also a link to the site and page.

When Iowa began, I was in the leaning towards category, when Iowa ended I was solidly in the "Next Group of Candidates Please" category. Now as New Hampshire begins to crank up I can only think of the classic line, that has been the downfall of so many relationships.  "Is This All That There Is?"

As a conclusion to this piece, I would simply like to send a message to both the Chairmans of the RNC and DNC, the term "The Lesser of Two Evils". Which, should never ever be a part of your thought process, seems to be the platform of both parties this year.  (Note - the author of this piece has voted for fifty years, and I have never seen "The Lesser of Two Evils" on any ballot."

I would be more than happy to reply to any comments, that are based on original thought. Please feel free to either leave a comment through this blog, or my website, or my e-mail, rdn9747@gmail.com

New Poem: "Three 3's this Morning"

Three 3's this Morning...

Three, what is special about you?

Especially on this early morn
For 3 was the only number
on the face of my clock
When I gave into the band of three.

Three cats, one old, and two young
Relentless, until their goal is reached.
The oldest with his head next to me
Starts his motor, as to say its time,
While Mr. Peanut begins to trill and talk to me.

But the real artist at waking me,
My special little buddy, you see.
Trapper wakes me, using his own special way,
With a full body massage as he walks, and kneads
Up and down  the entire length of me.

I may not be a mathematical whiz
But I do remember that when
The number three divides then number one,
The answer produced is an eternal one.
A decimal point, followed by three's reaching for the sun.

Like the endless 3's, and their quest for the sun.
My three cats don't stop until they have won.
Won what you say?, Why to get their human's
Butt out of bed, For they think it is high time they got fed.
Not food for there is plenty. No...they want a treat from me.

PRESS RELEASE - "Jasper, Street-Fighter, and Me" series

Press Release

January 23, 2016

Subject: Episode 4 of the "JASPER, STREET-FIGHTER, AND ME" series

Author, Richard Nurse, let it leak yesterday that he had completed the fourth episode of the highly rated series. The title hinted at earlier "M IS FOR MALICE" will be the title of the book.  We learned that the manuscript was transmitted in an encrypted format to the editor and that once again the talented Paul Potiki will be producing the cover art.

When asked if there will be a fifth book in the series, Mr. Nurse stated that that will be up to the readers. He then added his only tease on the story, and that was that the ending is written for either choice.

What say YOU, fans, should the series end at four or should there be more?

Like or +1 or Share for More, Comment for end at four.

A NEW WEBSITE for Author Richard Nurse

A new website for author Richard Nurse

I am happy to announce that there is a new website The Home of Author Richard Nurse that is presently under construction.  The site will be functional while it is being constructed by myself.
I will be the first to admit that the sole purpose for this site is for me put forth to the public pretty much whatever.  There will, of course, be a Home page, where I can tell my story, and provide a list of my books, along with their Metadata.  I am planning to have an OP-ED page, as well as a page titled "The Tale of the Tales", and one for telling "Cat Tails", and an as yet undecided page.

My plan for this site is for it to be almost link free.  At present the only links planned are one from the List of Books to my Nursesnook&Book website, which already has links to all of my books, and where they are available.  The only other link will be a button link on the "The Tale of the Tales" page which will simply say Dream Land.  The button will take you to an image, normally on Google. I plan to charge the picture frequently. The only criteria that I plan for the image will be that I find inspiring, or a fitting location to dream.  The only other button link that might get added is a link back to this blog site.

Feel free to stop in and visit the site, while it is still under construction. As always I would love any meaningful critique of the site, and your suggestions.  I will have contact me location on the Op-Ed page.
